What's the difference between a lease and an exclusive?
A lease lets you release one song on the beat while it stays on sale to other artists. Exclusive rights take the beat off the store for good, so no new licenses are sold. Leases sold before an exclusive stay valid until they expire.
When do I get my files?
Basic is an instant download. For Premium, Trackout, Unlimited and Exclusive you get the MP3 and your license right away, and the WAV and stems are exported fresh and emailed within 24 hours.
Can I upgrade my license later?
Yes. Pay the difference between what you paid and the new license. Email khayyat@svnbirds.com with your order number.
How do I credit you?
Add "Prod. by Khayyat" to the title or credits on every release: streaming services, YouTube descriptions and artwork.
Can I upload my song to Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube?
Yes, within your license limits. Lease beats can't be registered with YouTube Content ID; if you get a claim, send your license and receipt and it will be cleared.
Who owns the publishing?
You own your lyrics and vocals. On leases, Khayyat keeps 50% of the writer's and publisher's share of the song's composition. On exclusives the split can be agreed before purchase.
Do I need a PayPal account?
No. Checkout takes PayPal or any major card as a guest.
Can I get a refund?
Because the files are digital, all sales are final. If a file is faulty you'll get a working copy.
How does mixing and mastering work?
Pay a 50% deposit in the Services tab, send your files, get the first version (5 days for mixing, 48 hours for mastering) with two rounds of revisions, then pay the rest when you approve the final version.
